You've got to have Ndidi and one other. He's a much different player to the others and his ability to win the ball is brilliant.

Silva edges it for me as he does a lot of leg work to help him out. Plus he's a technically better footballer than Iborra and James.

It is refreshing to have four very capable midfield players though!!!

I am With Fif on this...Ndidi and 2 Others!!!

I’ve been plenty critical of Ndidi and I definitely share the op’s concerns about his appalling (at times) distribution but Iborra is not his replacement and we quite simply don’t have one. His breaking up of possession is unrivalled in this squad (even in the league currently) so it’s obvious why he keeps getting included. I would rather we help him iron out the flaws in his game than seek to replace because he has the stature and make up of a Patrick Viera and he really isn’t far off being that good.

Its strange how sensitive people get when he is criticised.

Yaya was never as good defensively as Ndidi, but Yaya's ball control and possession play is on a whole other level. But I could see Ndidi add this to his game. And then he would become the undisputed no1 in the world.

You're entitled to your opinion but you must watch a different player to the Ndidi I watch play for Leicester and the Yaya Toure who anchored the Barcelona midfield to the Champions League.

And you think Ndidi can play like Yaya Toure? I don't.

That said when Yaya Toure was 21 his passing and ball control was about as good as Ndidi's, so you can develop that.

ndidi needs to be in the side for his great workrate and defensive work but we also need players who can play players into space, ndidi tends to play backwards to much so i think the boss needs a way to play 3 in the midfield.

Maybe worth trying ...

Iborra has been shocking bar about 2 games.

Would go that far, he's had 2 or 3 pretty awful games, 2 or 3 very good ones and the rest falling in between.
