There must be a lot of graves / road side shrines missing flowers in that area at the moment.

This has been on the local news for a few days now, family of the man killed putting up floral tributes opposite the burgled man's house then some local residents tearing them down.  Some are seeing it as intimidation of the locals and I believe the man who killed the burglar has not yet returned to his home for fear of reprisals.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt as they'd just lost a family member (regardless of what he had done), and that may well have been their way of grieving - as is the case with many other people.

 

However, this time it's clear intimidation. They know the reaction and offence that was caused initially, they knew the reaction and offence that this would cause this time.
