Knew that you would nitpick my comment.

Bayern are on another planet in the BuLi but there is still a genuine chance for Dortmund to be a title contender. Let's see what Favre will do.

Awesome player but seems bit odd that he would leave Dortmund or they would want to push him out IF he was still a decent player.

Perhaps he is struggling and they can't justify his high wages anymore.

I'd say it is quite a high risk signing for us, due to this medical condition. Seems like a player on a downward spiral and Dortmund probably trying to cash in before it's too late.

Can't imagine many of the bigger clubs taking risk on him but still curious to see how he would do in the Prem. Just not sure if it should be with us.

Season long loan where we contribute 75% of his wages etc, might be the best scenario for us, but unlikely I guess.

As long as Bayern exist in that form, it's highly unlikely any other team will ever challenge them for the title.

Having said that, this upcoming season could be indicative of things to come - Lewandowski and Boateng may be off, Robben and Ribéry are getting on, new manager, same expectations.

For the sake of the sport, please have somebody else win the Bundesliga for once. Bittebittebitte!!

I fancy RB Leipzig to win the bundesliga in the next couple of seasons.

I don't see Dortmund winning next season tbh. Favre barely got in and they'll need reinforcements over two transfer windows to match Bayerns might, even if the latter won't have Heynckes next season which will probably be Robben's and Ribery's last one. The season after is another matter though.

Boateng will stay imo, Lewandowski is a more problematic case but there are still good chances that he won't go. Bayern don't want to let him go and Real, which was the most likely destination, has another manager and will certainly face a transitional season after the last three and ageing stars.

He's neither fit enough nor at the same level from 4 years ago so Liverpool would be a tall order. That said, there is 0 chance he'd come here.

Swap one of the best teams in Europe, a title challenge and CL every year for a mid-table team with a possible relegation fight at the end of the season. Yeah, right.

People saying he's finished, worth a loan or even think he could set a foot here need a reality check. Badly.

Oh so he isn’t good enough for Liverpool but he is way to good for Leicester?

ummmm

remind me who won the title more recently again?

disrespectful to Leicester yet again

Not really.

possibly correct but did you say this when we were linked with cambiasso too??

No I didn’t. Cambiasso was old and redundant at Inter Milan. I understand how massive a player he was throughout his career but it was feasible.

I juat dont don’t see how we sign Gotze and a bigger club doesn’t take a punt on a low fee for him even if he’s not the player he was!

id be over the moon if we somehow pulled it off!

It's the way some on here are moaning we are not progressing then shoot down anybody who talks about buying someone who would help us progress that I find baffling.

It was delusional to think we could win the league.
