Claude a 7/8 - made some bold changes and it paid off

Mendy - 8 - was everywhere, got involved and was very positive a very encouraging and refreshing perfcomance - MOTM

Chilwell - 7 - defensively good and smart going forward

Ricardo 7 - Great pace and very direct…  we have a player

Wilf - 7 - Wilf did what Wilf does

everyone else a 5/6

opposition 6 - can count themselves a little unlucky not to get a point

Mike Dean - 7 -  didn’t get too much wrong - I’m still confused over the sending off, but, enough folk seem to think it was!

I hope everyone votes Wolves a 10 as sensational opponents. After all, they did have a higher expected goals ratio than us......

Mendy and Periera 8/10

Madderz and Chilly B (I’m guessing that’s what they call other other?) 7/10

the rest 6’s and 5’s

Claude deserves an 8, bold team selection and substitutions.

While certainly a lot of room for improvement, there were a lot of positive signs.

Periera motm just, Mendy, Maddison & Chilwell close behind, Evans & Maguire didn’t gel at the beginning but sorted it late on. Lowest mark for Vardy as the more I see the tackle the more I think he lost it, Good Mark & stay for Puel, Wolves look a decent outfit but their fans are deluded. Poor Refereeing again from Dean, arrogant and likes to be the main man...

Ricardo 8 MOTM

Notable performances from Maddison, Mendy, Chilwell and Kasper.  And Wilf did what Wilf does. 7's

Room for improvement from everyone else (6's) bit less for Vardy's brain explosion.

Wolves were good, passed quickly and looked dangerous, probably deserved more from the game.  They will beat some decent sides this term.

Puel was brave with selection and subs I rated him 7 and stay, probably the best score he's had from me!

Excited to see this team evolve.  Still think we're a couple of class players short of challenging for Europe but Im encouraged.

Nice when there's more than one obvious candidate for MOM especially with high scores.

Claude Puel - 8 Good decision to play Mendy, and used the subs well

Kasper Schmeichel     - 7 Played well, but still fortunate to finish with a clean sheet given 3 woodwork shots and Chilwell goal line clearance.
Ricardo Pereira - 8     Terrific game, enjoyed his work. Quick and likes to get involved in the play, great addition to the squad.
Jonny Evans - 6 Would have been 7 but for his poor early game form, not entirely convinced he's the right man for us, time will tell.
Harry Maguire - 7 Steady performance, would like to see sign an improved contract (and made captain permanently)
Ben Chilwell  - 9 MoM Has improved his defending, no longer shy's away from the tackle or turn his back on the ball when defending free kicks. Good movement going forward, if he can improve his final ball he'll be one heck of a player.
Marc Albrighton - 7     Steady performance great cross for the first goal cleverly picking out an opponents head, still worth his place in the team.
Nampalys Mendy - 8.5  Close between him and Chilwell for MoM, great to finally see why we paid a club record at the time of signing him. Really hope that he can stay away from the treatment room and stay fit.
Wilfred Ndidi - 8 It's Wilf, keeps rattling up those woderful statistics and does what we expect him to. Delighted to see that he's extended his contract to 2024.
James Maddison - 8    Good to see him get his first goal for the club albeit slightly deflected. I guess he can take the Player of the Season Award now. Not sure how we managed to get his signature quite so easily, perhaps other clubs were put off by his knee injury which was reported by the gutter press as going to keep him out "for the first few games of the season "at the time of signing.
Demarai Gray - 7.5 He's getting there, nice to watch his development, quietly confident that hes going to make a real good 'un.
Jamie Vardy - 6 poor decision on his part to go in so hard to win a red. Hadn't got involved much before hand. Had to keep out of the play when Gray went through as he was in an offside position, 1 yard back and that would surely have been the first goal.
(SUB) Daniel Amartey - 7 Gave a good account ofg himself, probably following Puels orders to the letter after the sending off of Vardy.
(SUB) Kelechi Iheanacho - 6 Fairly anonymous, I can recall him having 1 chance
(SUB) Adrien Silva  - Sorry, can't recall him doing anything, therefore can't give a rating.

Opposition - 5 They really should have done better, another couple of resuls like this for them they will struggle for the rest of the season.

Match Officials - 5 Mike Dean really doesn't like us does he?

Manager Confidence - Stay  Finish the rebuild, iand change of Style it's going well so far.

Really do believe in Ricardo being a great player for us once he establishes himself.

Assuming 10 is playing an absolute blinder and being the highest level possible, I didn't see on Saturday a performances that was 20% short of perfection - 8/10

Wide open in defense down our right throughout the first half.

Not necessarily his fault he was rarely to be seen

7s all round for the starters apart from

Ricardo, Chilwell, Mendy 8

Evans 6

Vardy 5 - could have lost us the win with a moment of rage. Ineffective during game anyway.
