No mate.

SK1

Have just spoke to LCFC and they said it was due to parents purchasing tickets too far away from their own seats...

Fair enough..

Can still ring up and book tickets by confirming where your own ticket is

Exactly the same here, I’m in SK1 I usually buy my son one nearby then my Dad sits in the single seat and my son in my Dads. Sometimes I just sit him on my knee, when you ring they insist on changing a seat so that the child is with an adult which I guess is fair enough!

Am I missing something here? I have ST along with my two sons. But I don't believe I have any priority on purchasing additional tickets on a match by match basis?

If I am understanding your question ST holders can buy guest tickets on the designated date, i.e I just bought two extra Adult tickets for friends for Huddersfield and West Ham...before they go on General sale.  It used to be could only buy Senior Tickets then get upgraded as that is what we are. but now been changed and can get adult..not sure about for a child though, not tried.

If the child seat is within 2/3 seats, all is fine they said

Yes I had this problem when I tried to buy tickets for my daughter this week. I've always been able to buy her the seat next to mine but this time it wouldn't let me, the message was that I was trying to buy a child a seat on their own. Going to be a nuisance going back to having to ring or go in to the shop to get tickets again.
