If the loan is £100m, that's about what this new training ground is going to cost. The stadium expansion will require even more but perhaps we've already a surplus built up.

 

Hopefully this will stop us overpaying for shit players for a few years and look for value for money like the old days.

The game is increasing in terms of how many foreign club owners there are that seem to demand too much at times.

... wouldn't the company borrowing the money have some kind of collateral designated (ie. Sales ledger - Debtors) in view of a worst case scenario.

Developing youth and looking for value signings would actually be quite welcome given whenever we spend over 20 million quid on a player they turn out to be horseshit.
