Stadium Expansion

The beer's usually crap so quality is not going to be an issue but getting a pint in seems to be the biggest problem.

Banning it on the concourse also causes the concourses to be rammed and clashes with the long queues.

Not that there was beer served back in the day well not in the stands I went in.

So... are we to be expecting planning permission being submitted this month then?

That's what i was told many months ago but maybe the tragedy has changed things.

Chelsea have these at Stamford Bridge...certainly speeds thing up and therefore shorter queues

Has nothing to do with that. It's having competent staff and a system that works our concourse does not. Especially after the new card/cash queues have been introduced.

It might be rubbish, as it was in the paper this morning.

Leicester have taken out a new pay day loan to kick start the next phase of the clubs development.

The foxes have done some financial house keeping since owner Vichai died.

And now the club is pressing ahead with plans drawn up while he was alive to build a £100 million training ground and boost stadium capacity.

They have put up the Tv money they are due to receive between May and August this year as security. The loan is the second deal Leicester have made with Aussie bank Macquarie Group

Can anybody clarify what all this means?

Probably true because I saw on companies house a while back that Man City have to make all the Mahrez payments to the Macquarie group over the next few years. Presumably because they gave us the money upfront.

Soemthing people should probably consider really, because we will need to tighten the belt a bit and we'll just be interested in surviving for a while to pay all this stuff off.

It's correct, but it's two years worth of cash. So we've got a loan facility from them secured against two years of prem money and all the Mahrez money.

It look at like the money gets paid direct to them from the prem and from Man City, but I'm sure a financial whiz can take a look and confirm.

So we're banking on being the PL for the next few seasons.

Yep... as I said in th Puel thread. Kind of makes arguing about whether we are 7th or 11th redundant. The club want safety at all costs and won't be overly fussed about much else.
