Even though it's a Bank Holiday?

Yes, people got parking tickets last year and buses wasn’t even running on the day

But Boxing Day means far more people have to drive because of there being no trains, thus more congestion. A bit of common sense would help here I think.

This is the council we're on about here, when has common sense ever been a thing they've used?

"Although Monday was a bank holiday, the normal weekday rules applied and a total of 10 vehicles were given parking tickets - eight for being on the yellow line and two for being within bus stops."

This sounds like not all cars parked in the bus lane were ticketed, just the ones within bus stops and on "yellow line" ?

The yellow line runs as long as the bus lane but yes Agreed not cars was ticketed but there was only a 2 hour window it also depends on what time the warden actually got there and how long it takes to issue a ticket
