Feel like we're beginning to see the decline of JV. His biggest assets have always been his pace and aggression and he is now losing a yard of pace. He's getting caught offside more now as he's having to play closer to the limit than previously due to losing a yard. He's been absolutely immense for us and provided us with some amazing memories, but the decision to give him a new 4 year contract on over 100k a week was absolutely mental. 

Genuinely believe that if we continue to play with just the 1 striker, that it can't be him, thus needs replacing in the starting 11. He'd benefit from having a presence up there with him that gets involved in the build up for him, but can't see the formation changing to accommodate this.

We need to attack from the off and score very early in the match for vardy to become effective. Puel doesn’t seem to want that.

Get creative midfield players who can pick  a pass to find Vardys runs.At the moment he is being starved of any chances.

Pleat (out) signed the prolific Jimmy Quinn, the top scorer in all 4 divisions previously with a goal every two games over a couple of seasons and didn't know how to use him. I'm not sure if he'd actually seen him play. Scored 6 for us in 31 games.

 

He left Leicester after 9 months then picked up where he left off and prolific again.

 

There is no point Puel asking Vardy at 32 to change his style or/ and not playing to his strengths. Obvious what his style has brought him and us in the past.

 

We lost 3 strikers, its obvious Nacho hasn't got it, Vardy needs support and eventually replacing. Why hasn't Puel bought a striker who shares and can play to his vision, what ever that may be.

We aren't breaking down teams well this season. And this season we lost Mahrez. This isn't our only problem, don't get me wrong. But we should not forget this.
