Yeah. There's debate about whether the Community Shield is considered a "super cup" and therefore a competitive game or a friendly, which is why there's debate about whether he's on 98 or 99.

 

Personally, I wouldn't consider the Community Shield a competitive match ad you can substitute over half your team!
