I said it in another thread at some time, but it really annoyed me when Banks died all that happened was Birch read a few notes before a game but when the King of Thailand died it was projected on the big screens before a game.

Absolutely spot on.

 

So sad that part of the deal for getting backing from owners is that it's made all about them and their interests. There's no actual connection to our history. No 2 minute montages before the match change that.

He is part of our club heritage and one of our greatest. It would be an easy "win" for the Club to do something.

There's a far greater chance we would get a statue of a bloody elephant outside the ground, than one of Banksy.
