So sorry to hear of the death of this footballing icon. Gordon Banks was a fantastic goalkeeper, the best Leicester City have ever had. Known throughout the world and above all a true gentleman. The monumental save he made against Pele will live long in the memory. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Absolutely. But we know sadly from experience that we are good at this. I am sure the club will come up with a very fitting tribute, presumably before the Crystal Palace match.

Terribly sad news. I only ever saw Gordon play once for the City, in my very first match against Leeds, but he was a Leicester Legend and a truly great keeper. RIP Banksie.
