We had this conversation at work the other day, a colleague spent over £3000 on his cat when it got run over. I'd have to have it put down, but I have pet insurance so hopefully I wouldn't have the bill in the first place

Before I got married, I took out dog insurance. Unfortunately it didn't work on blind dates.
