Voll Blau Posted 9 August 2019 Posted 9 August 2019 Quote A project that aimed to tackle dementia, loneliness and social isolation amongst elderly Leicester City fans is coming to Market Harborough. The club’s ‘Then, Now and Forever’ programme allows supporters to ‘take a trip down memory lane’ by ‘hearing stories about sporting legends’ and ‘viewing a range of Foxes memorabilia amassed throughout the years. The Leicester City Community Trust has teamed up Harborough Council, charity VASL and Harborough Town FC to put on two sessions. The will be held on September 26th and October 1st at Harborough Town, off Northampton Road. https://harboroughfm.co.uk/unique-football-project-comes-to-harborough/?fbclid=IwAR0Tqaaj1l35BLZAwhUKIoKMogVEnSYav_na9KARAtjbqAcHgbXIIG0_g8c I wasn't aware of this before, but like the autism stuff this is a brilliant initiative. Well done to the club.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 9 August 2019 Posted 9 August 2019 Bet there's some good stuff in that memorabilia stash.
Pliskin Posted 9 August 2019 Posted 9 August 2019 Very good Idea, through work I come into contact with those suffering with dementia regularly, it's a tragic and awful illness. Well done to the club!
norwichfox Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Another great initiative, just hope I can remember where it is and when....

Well done to the club. Thanks for this. I've passed it on to Mrs B who works with elderly dementia patients and has one of 92 who is a lifelong fan and former season ticket holder.
