LinekersLugs Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 As we get bigger and better , our stadium will be growing so we need the City Council to support this growth , one way is to put more pressure on Train and Bus operators to cater to the Supporters more , giving more time to get back to buses and Trains so people can get home after evening games without having to be a marathon runner to make the train. but another way would be a dedicated Stadium walk/Cycle way from the Train Station/ City centre to the Tigers and then onto the KP , with a cycle way incorporated into the walkway It would really highlight the huge contribution sport makes to the welfare of the city , would make it easier for Supporters of all sides making their way to and from our fine stadiums the path could be painted in a combination of Blue and White and the Tigers colours where it branches out to them. I just feel the council need to support the amazing money that Top and his late father Khun Vichai have put into the area And we need to see a dedicated and protected access routes to the KP
HybridFox Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Good idea in theory but would be very difficult to implement given the already huge congestion in the centre. Think public transport needs a major overhaul though. Did a fair bit of travelling in Europe this summer and can't emphasise how efficient a tram system is.
yorkie1999 Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 I think turning all the traffic lights out of the ground and out of the city to green, as they do at hull, would be a good idea
davieG Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Goes right behind the stadium. Campaign for the Reopening of the Ivanhoe Line (CRIL)

Bryn Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Undoubtedly a great idea. I don't know the area brilliantly but it seems quite doable. Write to your local MP?
