City Fan Posted 29 October 2005 Posted 29 October 2005 I assume there were no faults in the previous updated table results seeing as I asked you all to check your points and get back to me if there was a problem? It should be better next month when I issue warnings before the final game, because it will either encourage more people to predict, or if they still don't predict, I will remove them off the table so will make updating easier. And I think I will be updating every weekend. This means it may be one match I update after, sometimes it might be two. Here are the Final October Tables, the posters in green/orange colour font have been promoted, and the posters in the red font are to be relegated: Overall points: Well done to Carlo, two excellent predictions has jumped him up to first when it looked like Anish would take the homours! How to understand the tables The "Overall" column to the right is fairly obvious, it tells you how many predictions you have made and how many points you have overall throughout the season. In the "October" column, there is a column which tells you how many predictions you have made in that particular month, and there are also columns telling you how many points you have been given for each match. "CC" would stand for "Coventry City" and so on. The "Overall" column tells you how many points you have got in that particular month. When the next month starts, relegation and promotion will be made, and a new table will be created with the October fixtures taken off and the November fixtures added. All monthly scores will be reset, however the "Overall" column will carry on to the next month. Any queries regarding the tables, please PM City Fan. If you are wondering why someone is below/above you and you are on the same points, it is because I have ordered it like so: 1) Points for the current month 2) If these are the same, the amount of predictions made in the current month 3) If still the same, the amount of games in the month you have picked up points 4) If still the same, the overall amount of points you have 5) If still the same, the overall amount of predictions you have made

It was discussed before the game started

IDEA OR IKEA Posted 3 November 2005 Posted 3 November 2005 Promotion at last Yippee Mid-table of the conference, now let me see what to tell the fans:- 1)Its not my team yet, i need more time 2)We are building for next month 3)We have had nothing but injuries or the Jose-way 4)We were the better team in the league but they all got lucky, i have a big book of all the other prediction teams and what they are saying about me,i think someone wants my job because he loves us

I've often offered a prediction of sorts in the threads but didn't realise it went towards a kind of league competition. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the people willing to give up their time to run it.
