This forum is not about slagging off other people just because you don't like what they have to say.

Fine argue their point with them, that's not a problem, but do it constructively, don't just start slagging them off because your views differ from theirs.

This is most probably why the thread was deleted

For a start I didn't even post on the thread and I saw no slagging off. Secondly I have argued my point several times with the things I disagree on so please don't start preaching to me.

You seem to have missed the point, peoples gripe is that you don't have to post exactly the same things all the time on every thread! Which is exactly what was happening. He had made his point (numerous times) and people were getting bored of it.

He makes good points and good posts, he shouldn't ruin it by forcing them down peoples throats.

Well said Allen. I hope others including one bitter moderator can learn from your words?

Yes people should learn to do research before posting.

Thracian has some excellent views, people should get off his back just like some fans should do with Levein.

If you don't agree or like what he says then don't read his posts. If you can't prevent yourself from not reading his posts then atleast superglue your fingers together so you can't post back. Job done.

Don't worry I do ignore his posts now, but when someone starts a thread like this with my name in it several times I think it's right to reply!!!!!!!!

We should welcome all input, then digest it at will.

Finally, the best moderator on this website (Ric) explains what posters should do.

Can you teach the female moderator for me?

I noticed your name cropping up but can't find any reference as to why, the rivers of babylon. What's been said? Gang warfare.

Once again I seem to be taking the flack for other people comments.

Someone mentioned his comments him on talkingballs, I said "I started speaking up against him and a few others have joined in".

All of a sudden i'm the bad boy again. Maybe i'll get some texts at midnight again.

* It pains me that the effect of the above is to drive fans away and so threaten the support of sponsors and television companies who rely on the game being a specacle, because their money is the lifeline to the game's survival. I think you'll find people are being 'driven' from the game because of the cost and you get primadonna's like Steven Gerrad and Rio Ferdinand complaining 100 grand a week isn't enough. Couple that to the fact there are a greater number of leisure choices these days it isn't a given you'll retain your fanbase

how can you call gerrard a prima-donna, he is to them what walshie was for us, a die for the cause leader and dragging them to a higher level of performance

He also threatened to leave in order to secure a better contract for himself.

Lush, (professionally speaking) you really come across as someone who has a problem with strong minded women. Without meeting you I would guess that your problem would extend to women in authority too.

Fascinating.

Lisa, I don't think that it's particularly you, these traits have manifested themselves elsewhere with him in other posts. I am considering including such written based analysis in my curriculum model for 2006.

Clearly, I mean threatening to leave the Club you love because they won't pay you 100 grand a week is loyal as hell.

I don't remember Walshie ever thinking he was bigger than the Club or the game.

Is that "Hazzman" character meant to be me? only i can't remember seeing anyone with that name about, but at the same time i don't remember saying that.

It's correct to an extent anyway, but it's a big if on home form as it's patchy at best. A 0-0 draw at last years play-off finalists , a team with a pretty formidable home record that season too, isn't a terrible result in my mind. They may not have won a home game this campaign but they've also lost less of them than us.

Who cares what Preston did last season? That's irrelevant. They aren't the same team as they were last season, just look at their results and their performances. The league table doesn't lie. They are a worse team than us. It's the same with Derby - just cos they reached the playoffs last season it doesn't mean we should be happy to settle for a draw against them.

I agree with Thrac and think he's been getting some unfair flak. Yes he goes on a bit with his lenghty posts but you don't have to read them or reply. Plus it's usually the same old people that moan about them without adding anything constructive themselves.

In short, a boring 0-0 draw against Preston is not good enough. But we will get better. The main areas Levein needs to look at is the creative midfield role (Hughes - injured all the time. Williams - Levein seems to have fallen out with him), the striker role (De Vries the only goalscorer, and that is not good at all) and right midfield (he should move Hammond there for his pace, he will be far more effective there with his trickery as well).

Also maybe we should be playing better football, but we must get all the parts of the team right first, and at the moment we haven't, unlike Watford, who have a very settled line-up, and everyone knows what the other is going to do, and therefore they can judge the passes accordingly, leading to good, free flowing attacking football.

I'm not saying we should be happy to settle for a draw, just that it's not as bad a result as is being made out by some people. If it was the same performance against a relegation-haunted side then fair enough, but Preston are not a bad side by any means, there's a couple of differences to the side who reached the playoff final and yes, that is last season, but it's still a fact. We're a couple of points and a couple of places above them, we could be below them tomorrow evening. Luton are well ahead of us but i bet if i posted that they're a better team i'd get a few denying it.

I also generally agree with most of what Thracian says, but feel certain aspects are overreacted to, but that's a forum for you, at the end of the day everyone wants success for Leicester City. I said i felt we could do with giving others a go up front or buying a forward in January as Thrac said. But as the strikers seem to be a weak point then maybe playing attack minded defenders like Sheehan to play a more open game would be more of a benefit to the opposition given that finishing isn't a strong point, but if you're in Levein's shoes and there's fickle fans going 'yeah good job with the restructuring off the pitch, but it's a results game' would you take that chance? Even if the answer's yes then you've got to see why Levein isn't so willing too.

The Brighton game is a decent example, the stats showed we had 20 something shots, although i can't remember us being that dominant, and Brighton had about 4, almost all on the break and they missed a header from about 2 yards to win it. They'd have been even more uproar had we lost that, and it would have been because they exploited the space we left in attacking, and that's against one of the poorer teams in the division.

Thats the beauty of posters like Thracian. He has loads of knowledge about the game, i think he said hes been semi-pro, and we can only learn from such a wise "old", sorry young bloke  Thrach.

Davieg is similar, although i dont fully agree with him, i read what hes got to say, because i know he has a decent footballing brain.

Lets not moan about a posters posts, lets enlighten ourselves with or without whats said.

I'd be disappointed if anyone agreed with every opinion I posted, if they did there would be no point in me posting it. ;)

Yes true, but i wont abuse you for having a different opinion. I might question it, but i wont moan that you could be bothered to put finger on keyboard.

Thracian has left us today, how long that is for i dont know, if he doesnt come back, then the moaning hooligans have rid this website of a brilliant poster!!

Can we PLEASE be less abusive with another posters words.

I agree with your last comments even though some of your posts, in part, I don't agree with.

Thracian should feel free to post at any time night or day. Return posts should also be made at any time night or day.

Lets not forget what we all love

LEICESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

Lets respect it and all supporters views about it. It doesn't mean to say we agree. After all we want the club to competitive don't we.

Bolton will be a hard game...... but....... if the mighty LCFC was to get to the final (fingers and everything else crossed) I will be there and it would be great to meet up for a beer somewhere in Leicester prior to the game to put names and faces together (for those old enough that is).

COME ON
