UNION FS charity foodbank collection 11th January

Surely the homeless would turn down Primark stuff everyone has standards.

Lad sits outside Tesco on West Boulevard with the dog many of us walk past him and I have seen fans walking by and giving him a coffee  or cash .

That young man has definitely been offered a home -flat from a housing association and he said no thanks.The reason often is that they just cannot cope with day to day stuff like paying the bills and organising day to day life .No having a place is not the full story its often other issues that prevent them going into what we may call a regular existence.

I totally forgot on the day so had to make a cash donation.

Couldn't believe how well this went. The amount it's increased by over the past 3 years is truly astonishing

Between the foodbank and the summer tournament the group is raising some serious cash for the City.
