You can’t attract or keep quality without paying the right wages. Yes, I’m fine with us paying those wages. Just not for lukeshaw
Ian Nacho Posted 18 January 2020 Posted 18 January 2020 He's a good player. The only issue is that the United fans have scapegoated him just like we have with Chilwell.
oxford blue Posted 20 January 2020 Posted 20 January 2020 I find this story likely to be purely press speculation. particularly as it is from the Mirror. There is no indication a) Man Utd would be be prepared to sell for a realistic price - which I think would be under £10m based on his recent record in terms of injury and appearances, and b) he would be prepared to accept a substantial drop in wages - which I understand to be about £150k a week. For any club to sign him, there will need to be some certainty he will work hard and is committed to becoming an international player again. What does he want? It seems likely he would need a move away from Man Utd if he ever fulfils his potential. Given his age I would hope he still has hunger to esatblish himself again. If City were su through their 'player profiling' he is willing to commit himself, he could be a good replacement for Chilwell (who seems increasingly likely to be leaving before next season).
Bazly Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Man U forum goers are pretty harsh on Shaw. Recon he has turned into a lardy who actually adds weight while playing - badly.
