Jimmy Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 if we could get him fit and keep him fit he's got some talent but he is getting towards the Matty James level of games missed injured
peach0000 Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 The only thing I could think is if Chilwell has lost the confidence of the club hierarchy and are considering selling him to the highest bidder now rather than risking his value going down if his poor form continues. Just pure speculation on my part though.

orangecity23 Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 Sunday Mirror? Weren't they the paper that made up "researched" the Maddison for 40 million + Lingard story last week? Somebody at that rag seems to enjoy printing bollocks about us.

Seems to lack professionalism and that drive to be the best. He’s always injured too. He’s probably on £150k p/w too.

weller54 Posted 13 January 2020 Posted 13 January 2020 Hopefully we've got GTF's old shirt hanging around somewhere.. just need to let it out a bit.
st albans fox Posted 13 January 2020 Posted 13 January 2020 Pretty sure this has legs .... didnt he once score against us ? That usually gets a deal across the line here !
Les-TA-Jon Posted 15 January 2020 Posted 15 January 2020 Overpaid, overrated. Man U paid £25m+ and will want that back and more. He's got a bad attitude and mentality too by all accounts. Totally not a Leicester kind of signing
Tom12345 Posted 15 January 2020 Posted 15 January 2020 I like him to be honest. If he loses some weight, he could be a gem of a signing. Problem is we cannot afford his wages unless he takes a 50% paycut.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 15 January 2020 Posted 15 January 2020 Isn't he hardly ever fit? I'd prefer to go for his younger replacement at Man United. I can't remember his name.

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 January 2020 Posted 15 January 2020 How long does he have left on his contract at Man U?

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 January 2020 Posted 15 January 2020 No legs then, we won't match his wages and he won't entertain leaving to half his money for over 4 years, you're talking over £15m pre tax.

Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 15 January 2020 Posted 15 January 2020 A positive news story for us. We might have enquired alongside a number of left backs, this one just made the papers. The club knows Chilwell is attracting interest so instead of sitting still, they prepare in case he does go. It seems to be our new, very good philosophy.
