DennisNedry Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/scores-fixtures/2020-01?filter=results Looking back at our results in the past few months, it's struck me that we've not had a great home performance since beating Arsenal 2-0 on 9th November. In the 2 months since the Arsenal win we've got a few good home results (beating Everton and Watford) without really playing well at all, and we've also struggled to a draw against bottom of the table Norwich and got thoroughly outplayed by Liverpool & Southampton. For me, that's 5 in a row at home where we've been pretty poor, some games worse than others. In those same 2 months though, we've been excellent on the road (Villa stands out) and our only defeat came against a Man City side who were unplayable on the day. What are the thoughts on why this is? It's hardly like Southampton parked the bus is it?
Keith.walls Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 I think the style of play suits us away from home. At the KP teams play compact against us and close down our full backs and that’s nullified so many attacks
Ric Flair Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 Our home record under Rodgers has been phenomenal when deploying 4-1-4-1 but we've hit a sticky patch, need to dog in and come through it. I've every faith we will do.
coolhandfox Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 3rd in the home table and 2nd in the away table. Don't think there is much to moan about.
HybridFox Posted 12 January 2020 Posted 12 January 2020 At home we're expected to put on the Greatest Show and be Kings for the Day

In terms of results no, but there has been a significant difference in the performances. I almost wonder if BR is focusing so much on setting us up to break down packed defences at home that it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy? Not sure.

Its a fact of life that home performances get most stick. I am sure admittedly without evidence if we had say 10 points less and had won every home game a lot would be more satisfied
Dan Posted 13 January 2020 Posted 13 January 2020 Performances at home haven't been all that great really. I think Bournemouth, Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle were the only genuinely very good home performances. Away from home we have been consistently very good.
