everton carr Posted 30 January 2020 Posted 30 January 2020 Not sure if anyone else on the forum knew him but Ash a huge City fan never missed a game in years home or away passed away recently aged just 36.One of the nicest guys you could wish to meet RIP Ash
Wymsey Posted 30 January 2020 Posted 30 January 2020 Very sad. Did he leave around the Syston or surrounding area, does anyone know? As saw a funeral car go through the town at just after 11:00, and there was a coffin which was covered in a big LCFC flag.

No he lived near Grimsby Fisheries went Lancaster boys school.Sadly it seems he had some kind of breakdown and was found dead on a park bench in Victoria Park
Nalis Posted 30 January 2020 Posted 30 January 2020 Sorry to hear that, far too young. How did he pass away if you dont mind me asking?
everton carr Posted 30 January 2020 Author Posted 30 January 2020 Don't know exactly what happened just that he was sleeping rough on Victoria park and seemed to have died in his sleep.
Friend Posted 14 April 2020 Posted 14 April 2020 I worked with ash for over 11 years, he was a good lad who loved a laugh and was always pulling pranks on us, i dont know the exact reason for it but in the last 5 years of his life he changed and became an alcholic and i mean in a big way. He would drink 2 to 3 litre bottles of spirits a day, everyone and i mean every one from me to my company and his family and friends tried to help but could not get through, he died walking home from a pub and froze to death on victorier park

Friend Posted 18 April 2020 Posted 18 April 2020 I think it was bit of everything, he split with girl he was with, he had pressures at home, i think it all just got on top of him, and he took a road there was no way back from
LinekersLugs Posted 20 April 2020 Posted 20 April 2020 @Mark could admin look at having a “Fallen Foxes” thread so people could put posts like this together, Forum will be a little flooded if we open lots of threads to remember great city fans I think there should be a “Fallen Foxes: Memorial Page for Passed away City Fans” we could then merge this thread with that
