I really like Kelechi, think he's bright and wants to do things when he has the ball. He feels more positive than he was a while back. But he HAS to score goals. His whole career in the PL he's scored 21 goals (just to put it in context Mason Greenwood 18, has already scored 10). If he wants to kick on and play more he has to repay the trust given to him and he can ONLY do that by scoring goals. I'd like to see him hit double digits next season. If he comes on as a sub see him turn the result of the game, score a goal, assist to a goal etc. I get that he's not been played enough but that might be because so far he hasn't been impactful while on the pitch.

He has improved immensely but the solution wasnt a run of games, his improvement came after his longest spell out and then had an impact on his first game back.

The problem was always been him put into games when he clearly wasnt ready for it.

Not much love for this guy unfortunately.  And he had the chance of making that one pass to Justin, which he would have been a hero and we would be wetting our lips about him.

Football is a harsh business. And fine margins count, goodbye Nacho.

What if he had made the pass and Justin had smashed it over the bar? We would all be bemoaning how he had not taken the responsibility of the striker and finished, and instead fobbed it off to our centreback. Don't think things are that black and white.

I think the reason he was subbed was that moment, he may of changed the game later if he did make that pass........we will never know.

But not making that pass was criminal and not scoring, under the circumstances.

Feel for the lad, gave 100% every time, made us look better, deserves to go to a club that will play him regularly

Exactly my sentiments. Unfortunately I think Nacho's future lies away from us and specifically Brendan, who seems not to rate him regardless of his displays.

That's kind of why he gets payed the big bucks. I have no issue him not passing, he shoots and makes the keeper work, fine. But the thing is he didn't. The shot was awful. It was a wet dribble. And that's his job! Either pass and create a clear chance for somebody else or have a go. He did neither. Only Kelechi can turn it around for us. He has talent, I'm open to giving him at least another season (as long as we get a striker in who can score because if we rely on him we're dead) but at some point you got to say he's just never going to turn it around and let him move on. Loaning him out to a Championship side next season might be the best move in giving him the chance to find his scoring boots in the long term.
