Sydney Sweeney discourse is weird. Seems like for a lot of the left in the US she represents some kind of dark forces dragging women's rights back to the 1950s; conservatives talk about her like she's a return to classic Hollywood ideals of beauty, when she's a slightly weird, cross-eyed looking woman with great norks. Just be normal!

And she's happily playing both sides and making bank and notoriety from both. Good for her.

In any case, she's hardly needed as a lodestone pulling women's rights in the US back 70 years, there's more than enough going on with others there demonstrating the attempts at that.

She’s also been marketing her own lingerie brand that I’m equally appalled by. I have to keep a close eye on such things to continue engaging in this discourse and being well informed.

I’ve been consuming a lot of 9/11 content the last few days (cheerful I know) and it’s got me wondering. What would’ve been a better response from the US? Could there have been a world where it doesn’t end in the deaths of so many more?

Probably not possible to answer that.

There was never going to be a different response IMO. It was always going to be "five hundred of yours dead for every one of ours" retribution - which pretty much came to pass.

The only way that could have been prevented is if the US had gone at least some way to addressing the geopolitical concerns that resulted in it before it happened.

Thoroughly enjoying Ed Sheeran getting some aggro this week

Zionists are their own worst enemy. I am sure Gilette Stadium has hosted some music acts that promote or sing about all sorts of awful shit, or sport stars that have commited all sorts of crimes. The owner of the stadium himself is incredibly dodgy. But someone supports Palestinian freedom is barred and accused of hate speech. It's hilarious, they're so stupid.
