He’s one of these weird players where I don’t really see what’s his best position? Could be a left back, CB or CM but doesn’t quite have all the attributes for any of those roles

Neither left back or centre back. I think his best position is left back on the bus.

This is probably mostly the truth. Think he’d be better off in a less physical country to play football

What? Are you on about Barnsley? Played well? Are you blind? He was dreadful for a few reasons…..

Constantly out of position, got caught numerous times having to run back to his goal.

Decided to dive instead of pass the ball ton put us 0-2 up…

Gave away countless fouls in harmful areas of the pitch.

Miss controlled more or less every pass into him.

Gave away so many passes, easy passes.

And got caught in possession countless times….

He didn’t play well at all, he can’t do the basics right.

Just exaggerated nonsense, exemplified by gave away countless fouls in dangerous positions. He made 2 fouls, one of which was in their corner in the 1st half

Respectfully disagree, he’s appalling week in week out. He shouldn’t be anywhere near a football pitch, let alone our team. If you watch the full game back and focus on him, you’ll just see how he didn’t offer anything other than perhaps one or two crosses…. That was it, other than that he looks like he’s constantly chasing the game…. The one moment that really summed him up, was when Lundy chipped a beautiful ball to him, and he just fumbled around with it like a pensioner tripping over the dog…….

That happened a couple of times in the second half, as well as constantly passing into danger, and being caught in possession several times.

As much as I think Top is delusional. I think people sticking up for Thomas is worse. Unbelievable. He's a man child stealing a living. Sunday league football is probably his level.

It's one thing him still being at the club, but for him to still be a regular is a whole new level. This is after we've invested in the squad too.

You know full well he doesn't know why he's being picked either and that's noticed in his body language/attitude/persona/performance/limpness/pub sessions/short throws etc etc etc.

I probably criticise him more than anyone, and have done for years. However, I thought he did pretty well for us yesterday. Yes it’s usually 1 game in the odd 20 he can do so, and he’s mostly awful, but yesterday he was fine.

And against 10 men so had more time and space and yet was part of a side that couldn’t beat a very poor team with a 1 man disadvantage

How can you disagree with a stat? He made 2 fouls and one was 80 yards from our goal that’s not countless fouls in dangerous positions.
I agree with you in that he should be nowhere near the team, and 99/100 he is absolutely shite but yesterday he was fine. He was linking up with alves well, assisted our goal with a good cross and should maybe have had another with ohora. Yes there was a couple of dodgy moments with him but there was plenty from everyone, faes in particular loved a slow misplaced roll into the midfield but he was nowhere near being the weak link of the team yesterday.

Perhaps he was helped out with them having 10 men and not being challenged a lot but I’m not having that he played badly and normally I’d be the first to stick the boot in. I was livid in the pub that he was even picked with Martin seemingly fallen out with mcfarlane and Bristric
