Solidarity to them. Amazon take the piss in terms of giving a fair share of taxation and working conditions. They also destroy High Streets as retailers who do pay tax and rates can't compete on prices.

First of all - it's never cheap. If it is cheap then there's something wrong with it.

Secondly - it's destroying jobs in the high street - every high street that is - and manufacturing in this country. That has implications that extend to the standard of living that extend far into the future.

Third - its profits go back to America

Fourth - they pay f-all in tax.

Fifth - working conditions and salaries at Amazon are kept to a bare minimum.

Sixth - Amazon encourages, by its trading practices, monopolisation of goods supplied from China - i.e. it suppresses industry in the rest of the world and makes Chinese billionaires ever more rich and China more powerful.

Seventh - once all the high street stores are really closed, for good, then where do you go to for a choice?

Eighth - duff, misleading reviews.

Ninth - I'd rather be able to go into a shop and see what I'm buying - especially clothes and shoes.

Tenth - Jeff Bezos - philandering jerk.

Realistically UK stores wouldnt compete even with amazon paying proper tax, as brick and mortar is by nature more expensive and amazon now have economy of scale in their buying power.

But yeah, amazon is flooded with Chinese goods, electrical ones which are often dangerous, the tax situation is a joke, and they are becoming too dominant.

Amazon are some of the biggest exploiters of workers in the world and they're too cowardly to pay tax. Wish they'd dissappear.
