Didnt you know smoke works a lot like Covid. It knows where it can and cant go lol

It's like down at the KP, 100 people all outside smoking and the wind blowing it back in, making it roughly 98 times worse than it would have been for anyone stood within about 50m of the doors lol

I'm an Ex Smoker (although I do still vape....) However, I don't drink.... how would people feel I Alcohol was banned? - you know the violence inducing, vomit engine of alcohol.  The one which causes people to do things totally out of character?   Equally damaging as smoking if done to excess.....

Now don't get me wrong, i'm absolutely NOT suggesting we should ban alcohol, but if it was a NEW thing to the market, people would be totally against it.

I accept that smoking was anti-social and grim for others.... but then so is a really drunk moron...

Not going to lie, i wish both would be banned.

I dislike cigarette smell, i dislike having to work with someone or get into  an elevator with someone who reeks of it.  Its bad for your health anyways. So is the fatbastard food i occasionally eat but hey lol.

In regards to alcohol, too many people have depedency issues with it and its also not good for you. Too many willy pullers drink and drive which never ends well .

Butttttttt if you ban both people will just find it on the black market or  finf something else to take the edge off so its a moot point.

Just my personal preference and this from a guy who appreciates a nice pint (not a big drinker though).

I agree. You can't control what vices people have.  Drink driving is a particularly personal one for me. Growing up, 5 of my friends died in a car crash having been hit by a drunk driver on a country road.

To this day, if I'm driving, I don't even have one pint.

Was this on the road between Market Bosworth and Wellesborough?

If so, I attended that.

Sorry for your loss.
