General Sale no longer exists by the looks of it. If your not a season ticket holder or a member, your no longer a fan?

There was general sale for Wembley and Villarreal. Just not yesterday.

I wouldn’t hold your breath for Man City - but I’m sure Burnley will go on General Sale 😂😂

The thing is it should of gone on general sale yesterday. It went past all members and tickets were available, so instead of going on general sale it went to 'season ticket guest'

If you really want to go to matches, you’d be best off becoming a member. It isn’t that much money (especially if you don’t get a plus membership) and the benefits are worth it in my opinion.

Taking my lad to have his photo with the trophies last week was a really good experience, and wouldn’t have been possible without the membership. But being able to get tickets without worry is the best feature for sure.

This is what I'm saying, your being forced in to getting a membership. The game yesterday didn't even sell out. Its not about the money, is basically turning in to a only members only club that I don't like.

...so?

Demand is incredibly high, and they need to have a generalised system that will work across the season. The fact that not being a member means its difficult to get tickets is an unfortunate byproduct of that, but its nothing new. You can either pay up for the membership (which at £30/£40 is really quite affordable, with extra benefits like retail discounts which could offset the membership cost) or you can wait 3 years for the new stand to be completed.

Pretty sure it was sold out yesterday? As that is only when the resale platform becomes active so all that would have been available would be a few tickets from season ticket holders

Yep, that’s how it works as far as I’m aware

Nobody forced me to buy memberships. The fact is, I’m a big enough of a supporter to be happy to pay it for the perks and the benefits the membership offers.

From where I was sat yesterday, it looked sold out to me. But the fact is if you’re not happy to drop £30 for a whole year of ticket access and other perks, then you have to question just how much do you really want to be at a match.

I don't live in the city anymore but I'm thinking of getting a membership in order to rock up at a few away games in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. Is it worth getting a membership in terms of away ticket availability?

Hmmm, season tickets holders get first dibs. Then it goes down the ranks, and you’d have 0 points to start with.

You can enter a ballot for away tickets. It's normally only about 50 odd that get allocated to the ballot tho.

This is true. West Ham however is currently open to all members though. Not sure how it’d work for certain at the venues listed.

Not worth it just for that in my opinion. The games you suggest will probably sell out to season ticket holders.

Of course they will sell out to season ticket holders. But if nothing else the 30 quid for membership is worth it for entering the ballot for aways. There's no guarantee you get tickets granted. But I know people who have been successful in the past for old Trafford etc. Some one has to be at the end of the day.
