The stress is part and parcel of being addicted to and in love with a football club. It is surely better to care that much than be indifferent.

I’ve seen us play a hell of a lot tighter, but utter dog shite is extreme. Goal after 8 minutes isn’t dog shite. There was however a few opportunities where we should’ve converted - at least two! And the penalty was also avoidable.

It was against Norwich. They’re going to struggle to get near 20pts. It’s all about opinions and mine is that we were dog shite. We shithoused a win. That’s great, but the bigger picture is that even slightly better teams would have slapped us off the park today. 
 

Hopefully the international break and some work on the training ground and on the physio table will see us in better fettle when we return. I have no idea what is going on, but something is. The 2 GK on the bench was a direct signal from Brendan to Top. That doesn’t bode well to my mind.

We deserved more than a draw at home against Chelsea in Feb 2020. I’m trying to think of a more recent example but that game stands out to me: we outplayed them but switched off on two set pieces.
