MPH Posted 1 September 2021 Posted 1 September 2021 If Harry Redknapp is not being interviewed from the drivers seat of his Jag , engine running and window down, then it isn’t a transfer window. This explains why we only signed one player. Fax machines only receive power from Redknapp’s open window. 2

Phenom Posted 3 September 2021 Posted 3 September 2021 I’ve heard that Wolves will sell Traore in January if he doesn’t agree to a contract extension. Thoughts? Too expensive?

Pretty much Traore. ...pretty much spot on!!! Always strikes me as to why a coach cannot correct his end product or refine or change his shooting technique. The club coaches I suspect, would have their hands full with the other players but a specialist coach working one on one with him would be a way to turn a potential into a practical reality. He also needs to understand the game as a matter of course and to understand the players around in relation to himself. He is very frustrating to watch, but not un-coachable. 1

No, the raw materials are there for sure - but it’s so raw even now. Specialist coaching might help, but it’s more than just the footballing side in my opinion. Faced with the goal all confidence drains away, you can see it. He needs some mental training as well - it’s only football.

It should be an open door policy and be encouraged by the Coaching Staff in order to develop a safe and healthy society. If Traore's confidence leaves him, in front of goal, it will be because he does not believe in what he does in that situation. He cannot continue to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result in this instance. The specialist Coach would breakdown his technique and redevelop it into something either more simple, or for him to see himself as a supplier, as opposed to the one finishing off the move. Far too many players feel the only way to keep themselves relevant is to be the one scoring as opposed to the person creating the chances. They need to get the academy kids to understand that from the beginning, because they then fail to understand or see the overall picture and try to score when a simple lay off would have been better, and worse of all, because of the "tunnel vision", do not see the option at all.

Seen him a few times Boro were on TV last season, and he was always one of their better players. Athletic, and tall/physical, which we could do with. Wouldn't be surprised if we had pushed this through, if Choudhury had gone out on loan, so we could take a look at him and have another Home Grown Nation player.
