Muz Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 I'm not even going to bother putting the radio on, that line up is disgusting. I'm off to watch the rugby. This is shocking, I used to give a toss about LCFC. Same as I feel. I Dont care about Leicester as much as I did anymore. I dont have the same incentive to go games aswell. Do I want to fork out money for Leeds away? Errr on this performance , No.
Blue Arrow Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 Right only reading this page not any other i gatherr its 1-0 to them or 0-0
breadandcheese Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 You know it's bad when your best hope is to bring Elvis on upfront. Not sure the merits in playing two slow men upfront.
Thracian Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 Four man defence, two rottweilers and Adey's pissing over them all. Has Nils passed to a City man yet?
Gené and Tonic Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 Levein, you've got a lot to learn about football management pal!
Louise Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 HT then.... how can we change it in the second half?
Mark Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 Does this mean we lost the physical battle? My word, we are so boring.
Cobbo Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 HT then.... how can we change it in the second half? Hughesy and Hammond for Dion and Kisnorbo and stop bypassing the midfield
Nationwider Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 I guess in the next 45 mins we're going to learn a lot about: CL's ability to motive a losing team CL's ability to change a game tactically. He has two good footballers on the bench in Stearman and Hughes. In Tiatto, Hamill and Hammond, he has players who could influence the game with aggresion, skill and pace respectively. Over to you, Craig.
breadandcheese Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 I know this won't happen but I would love to see us play 3-5-2 and match their 5 in midfield. Swap Elvis for Dublin and Hughes for Maybury (moving Hughes into the midfield)
Mark Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 As i said earlier in the week, nothing less than 2 goals in this match is acceptable, a second half turnaround please. I'm fed up with boring passionless hoofball, today has hit an all time low with that embarrassing strikeforce, it's on par with a Micky Adams selection.
Louise Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 HTs: Burnley 1 - 0 Leicester Coventry 0 - 0 Ipswich Crewe 0 - 1 Stoke Norwich 2 - 0 Luton Plymouth 2 - 0 QPR Preston 2 - 0 Cardiff Reading 1 - 0 Hull Sheffield Utd 1 - 1 Millwall Southampton 3 - 0 Leeds Watford 2 - 0 Sheffield Wed If scores stay as they are we're down to 16th
Thracian Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 Half time 1-0. There's still hope of a recovery but let's not kid ourselves. This game should be dead and buried for Burnley by now (just like Preston) and there's precious little on the bench. Why doesn't Levein - just for once in his Leicester City managerial career - play our best side? The hoof is so pronounced it took Kisnorbo 34 minutes to get a mention. Even his tactics have no chance of working without people who can pass from the back or are willing to cross it early from the flanks.
Louise Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 Woohoo, Monk is on TV, I will get some entertainment this afternoon!
Thracian Posted 19 November 2005 Posted 19 November 2005 Adey causes havoc again. Douglas saves but it hardly sounds as if City have been inspired and there are no changes as yet!!!!
