Guest seanfox778 Posted 22 November 2005 Posted 22 November 2005 How about Kris Boyd? he scored 12 goals in 15 starts this season, i didn't know he was doing so well
Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2005 Posted 22 November 2005 Boyd is starting to get some big clubs watch him and we've missed a trick here as we could of snapped him up for the money we paid for Gilbert and got some change back. He is scoring frequently for a very poor team and has done for 2 and a half seasons now. He's still only 21/22 and has the necessary experience of a few seasons to his name. He'd be worth a punt if we could snatch him away.
lush Posted 22 November 2005 Posted 22 November 2005 We'll probably end up with either an English or a Scottish striker. swisspiss, is there any swiss players that could piss this league?

Now could be me, but both Trundle and Boyd score goals in there respective leagues and I know who'd I rather have. We could of sign both of them for what we recieved for Connolly. Maybe I have been harsh on Hume, but I think he's more of an attacking midfielder. I sometimes wonder if we should go 3-5-2 and use Maybury and Sheehan as wingbacks and allow Hume a role behind the front 2. This would of been Connolly's best postion and I believe it's Hume's to. RANT OVER.

I did hear somewhere that Lee Miller and Kris Boyd were targets but Levein wanted to get a quick striker in and that's why Elvis was signed in the summer.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 This is who we should sign. Instead of signing the current over rated one season league one wonder, we should sign the one from a couple of seasons back, I gurantee he'll be cheaper. I've herd Simons Cox's name about 27 times today it is starting to hurt my head.
