Has anyone even watched a bit of him? Haha

He's like an inside forward, ie mane and salah type. He never plays as an out and out striker. He plays in a 2 usually, and drifts to the right. If tje price ain't bad get em in. He's stronger than most his age and can be molded into a good player.. Not a kelechi replacement. I'd know as he'd been linked to tje moroccan national team

Main attribute seems to be winning free kick from being fouled judging from the video clips 🤔

....why didn't Sowah try harder!!!

I watched him in pre-season and there was no attempt to impress. This was his big chance to try and get into the managers thoughts but he just did not show the hunger that you would have thought that he would.

My guess would be fitness. He looked no different to anyone else out there except for KDH, who came back like superman

...that is what I mean, why wasn't he better, in a better condition knowing just how big a season this would be for him!!!

As circumstances has turned out, he might have got a lot of games to showcase his talent. He is not getting much time at Brugge at the moment, he has had 8 games so far in the league (and not necessarily as a starter in all of them).

I think players bodys react differently. Some players are fine keeping fit with at home workouts... other need pure match fitness. Its hard to replicate that without football.

Im not saying he was the solution but if he played for someone else and was filling the role, our scouts may well have taken a look at him :dunno:

What im basically seeing from this, is we want a more defensive minded player on the right who is going to be a huge asset for the press and winning the ball in dangerous areas. Which was probably obvious because thats about all Perez offers.  Lookman also has a surprisingly strong defensive profile... if only his preference was playing on the right
