Depends. I don’t think it’s as simple as having a best XI for all occasions.

 

Someone like Albrighton for example I’d be starting every game atm given his form and probably in the Conference League final too as he’d be the personality for that kind of occasion.

 

But when everyone’s fit and in form I’m not sure I’d start him for a random league match.

What this thread demonstrates is that we have plenty of options in terms of personnel and formation to be able to rotate and tailor to the opposition. What it is also demonstrates is that the holy grail of having everyone back probably won’t happen even for the first game of next season.  People have good memories and plucked out great performances and the teams that helped achieve them. We will need that flexibility in the coming weeks and there probably isn't a single stand out starting eleven. That’s not bad news.

What about Castagne   ranks above Justin and Thomas  and not on bench  or is he out for the season

With everyone fit, at this moment in time, Tielemans wouldn't be anywhere near the 1st team for me either. Moving slowly from side to side pointing his finger and players and spaces as if orchestrating the show without contributing anything meaningful doesn't cut the mustard with me. He's currently a passenger and contributes little.
