It might be a pipe dream, but if me managed to make it to the Europa Conference Final with a fully fit squad of players, who would make the starting 11?

A lot of calls for Iheanacho to start games, Thomas is growing into himself, KDH has probably added himself to the automatic starting list, Amartey is improving every week.

Through the tough season we have had with injuries, some players have really stepped up and some previous automatic first choice players are maybe not necessarily in the best XI anymore.

So who would you play? Given the choice of the full squad?

Maybe Soyuncu for Evans if he never quite comes back the same, otherwise agree 100% with the rest.

Really don’t think he’s earning his place at the moment. Rather have KDH and Maddison.

He’s not hit his usual high standard recently, granted. But form is temporary and class is permanent and I believe he’s got the most class of any player in our squad right now.

Hopefully by the time we’re in Albania he’ll have his mojo back and give us one final legendary moment!

Tielemans hasn’t really hit his high standards for us in Europe. Even last season when he was on fire. But, he’s the kind of player, similar to a Drogba when at Chelsea, in the big occasion he delivers. He has so much quality in his boots. Nobody else in our squad can pick a ball like he can,  and definitely no one else can ping a thunderbastard 🚀

When we had the interchanable back 5 to the 4 we were at our most dangerous over the past two seasons.

Brighton and Chelsea home. Tottenham away stand out for me for them.

Fully fit... Evans has a shout for that back line too but who misses out...

If fully fit and on their top form with a 4 1 4 1 or 4 2 3 1 system (not current form!)

                    Kasper

  Ricardo, Evans, Fofana, Justin

                     Ndidi

               Youri, Madders

    Albrighton  Vardy     Barnes

I’d be very happy with this

This is Al.ost impossible.  With a fully fit squad, there would be 13 outfield players who wouldn't want to leave out at Allan 3 more who I think would do a good job.

I would go for a 7-4-2 formation.   I recognise there would be a lack of balance but it would get all 13 in the side.

For the 11

Schmeichel

Pereira, Evans, Fofana, Justin

Tielemans Ndidi KDH

Maddison

Vardy  Barnes

                               Madison

                      Vardy               Barnes

Which is perhaps ye olde England team mistake of years gone by of shoehorning your best players into a formation (Scholes on left, Gerrard and Lampard constantly occupying the same spaces etc), the diamond isn't ideal nor Barnes as one of two so perhaps make Madison the right sided one of a front three, Harvey out to the left and it's more balanced. But those full backs will give you attacking width anyway so :dunno:.The likes of Castagne, Soyuncu, Nacho,  Albrighton and Lookman on the bench give us plenty of options. Shame Soumare isn't in anyone's conversations which shows how slowly he's settling (my polite way of saying "has been disapointing") but with his league winning experience you'd think he'd be able to contribute something to us.

But if it was a final, maybe cagey disciplined, reliable is more important than flair and excitement, perhaps Soyuncu as part of a back three (said in same sentence as "reliable"!) I'd say with our strongest back 5 available I'd back us to keep a clean sheet against anyone (so long as they don't get any corners in the 90 plus minutes)!  Could also rely on Albrighton and he might be the type you want out there on such an occasion.
