Very good for us today. Minimal lulls.

Bit pants them

Strange that in back to back away games where our fans haven’t been on the players backs we have last minute winners (obvs red card effects it to)

I thought it was good yesterday.

Scenes when the goal went in felt better than Southampton in my opinion. Concourse was mega before the game.

And kept “Jordan Ayew ole ole” going to the train station aswell.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty meh yesterday. Songs fading away as quick as being started. Went completely quiet when they went 1up and we only made solid noise after the equaliser.

Only other notable loud point was when Vardy got in a tangle with one of theirs.

Couldn’t really hear the home support but still much better than ours at home by a country mile.

Have we really only got 5 songs now? Depressing. As per usual, people were more vocal to slag the players off at every mistake they made.

I nearly got in a scuffle with another city fan cause I dared to clap a shot that went wide. Some absolute cretin in the usual identikit chavy stone island uniform. I’m far from a violent person but was close to putting this guy in Ipswich royal infirmary for the night.

I also noticed Vestergaard is back to his old tricks, refusing to clap our supporters. That guys got some deep rooted hate for us ever since Rodger’s days I’m sure. I remember last season after Cov at home first game of the season, Enzo had to stop him from going down the tunnel on the final whistle and made him go back out to the fans. He’s definitely read foxestalk!

I’ve read this and have a lot to say.

1. as for the 5 songs… there are a few in the stadium that try and get new songs going. But for whatever reason they just don’t pick up. Unless you’re one of the few that try to get new chants going, stop moaning, get on the “new chants” thread and suggest something that might work. Or before the next away game, start one with your pals in the boozer before. Certain songs will stick. E.g., Fatawu’s.

2. blue on blue is just embarrassing. No matter the reason (except from exceptional circumstances, such as racism or sexism or whatever). If a persons a dick, then that’s what they are. They won’t change for you or any others in the fanbase.

3. completely agree re Vestegaard. Had enough of him. Much rather Okoli. Faes is starting to get the same arrogance now too. I remember at the end of last season, when the team couldn’t pass forward, we cheered whenever the ball went up the pitch. We scored and one of the two runs over to L1 cupping their ears. Twats.

It’s been discussed to death on here…Trust me mate, our fan base is a lost cause. The game has changed. You need more like minded fans to get any good chants going en masse. Current folk don’t even know the words to the cringey “ we love you” chant and only sing the wo wo wo bit as that’s what they’re used to banging their clappers along to. We do have some good away ends on occasion but is certainly dwindling.

I’ve done my stint over the past 3 decades and a little too old to be “in the boozer” starting chants pregame. I now have a box at the KP and my pregame ritual is taking clients to Konak for a slap up meal. No matter how poor the game is, they always remember the food! If I’m going to sit in a library, I’d rather do it in comfort.

Maybe we’re just at different stages on our journey of supporting city, and different ages.

And I get all that you’re saying.

But I’m honestly sick n tired of all this negativity that’s going around the last few seasons in particular. Surely there’s something. Some hope. Otherwise it’s a depressing thought that for the next 70 years (if I’m lucky), the atmosphere at the stadium and away ends will be as miserable as they are now.

I know people don’t like the orchestrated starts of the chants in which ufs lads are good for, but what I also found odd at the forest game was two songs in the section going at once. I really do believe that cooper being on the touch line is not helping matters one bit. Last season Enzo was sung for and the chants were made around him, this year there’s next to nothing..

Really bad.

Not helped I found myself in that area to the left of the main away end where all the club staff and freebies go.

The chaps saying our fans don’t care as much as others were right on todays showing.

Absolute powder puff showing, about 4 songs sung and all half arsed.

Every now and then I see posts on here about Man Utd being decent but good grief Old Trafford is so quiet.

Away fans felt at home then
