Agree 100%.     We used to have great atmospheres ... just not any more.     For all the various reasons we've discussed 100's of times, our atmospheres have really gone downhill since the 1990's.      I just wish it could go back to how it used to be ... but that's unlikely to happen.

It’s also believing in what your club is trying to do. we’ve never been great but when there’s a lack of plan or any kind of communication it only hurts it more. I thought wolves fans were pretty decent compared to a lot of grounds this season.

Interesting.   But it didn't look like anything happening on the pitch, had the slightest relevance to anything!

What circumstances on the pitch make it ok to support your team?

They're having a good time regardless of what is going on on the pitch. Imagine paying all that money to sit there looking glum because the game is boring/your team is losing

Effort, commitment, players running, taking people on, shooting, winning the ball, fast breaks, pressing. I think if the players are clearly giving it all on the pitch the fans will back that. 

 

Things modern football is lacking quite a bit.

 

The absolute best teams I have seen this season are PSG, Inter and Barcelona none of them are particularly slow passing accross the back snoreball.

Atmospheres are only good when the fan in the stand believes the noise they are making has an effect on what's happening on the pitch.  It's why those that control a game with 80% possession never have great atmosphere either

The players have to show something too. Like if they pressed hard, ran hard etc fans would get behind that, but its very hard to get behind a team passing it between centre backs, we pretty simple we just want to see some entertainment. In the last 3/4 years there has been very little in the Leicester side the fans can really get behind. Again that falls down to poor decisions at board level mixed with the utter contempt with which KPFC treat the fans.

Completely, currently it feels like we could create an incredible atmosphere and we would still get Bouba Soumare enjoying a leisurely stroll around the centre circle
