A group of 53 of us had booked a coach with WOODS to Liverpool for tomorrow’s game at Liverpool. 
 

All paid for and all confirmed. 
 

Only now, have Woods turned around and said that they have cancelled the bus. Their reason being that a former employee (that they have now sacked as a result), who had been dealing with our booking, was wrong and shouldn’t have accepted the booking on the basis that it wasn’t officially through Leicester City. 
 

Follow up customer service has been poor. We have offered to follow any protocol required to get there, Woods refusing. 
 

So 53 disgruntled ticket holders, home and away dedicated supporters with no way of getting to Liverpool just after Christmas. 
 

All thanks to Woods 👍 Should be ashamed of themselves.

It wouldn’t surprise me with how they’ve behaved and the correspondence we’ve had. 
 

They initially said that Leicestershire Police had stopped the bus, but when we confronted Leicestershire Police, it was evident that they hadn’t, and that Woods had been lying and quickly changed their tune.

Completely not on, 53 loyal fans willing to make the journey this side of Christmas! Wonder if anyone in here knows anyone from Auden Clark or any other company who can take the lads! You’d like to think the club would do all they can to help but I doubt it. Good luck lads 🤞🏻

They should be refunding the match day tickets as well. 
 

Anyone got any legal advice on if they can just cancel it and get away with paying any other expenses? Haven’t even got enough time to book anything else as they won’t have sent the refund by 5pm today.

Group of 53. All paid (and well over the odds may I add at £32 each when Woods charged £21 via the club).

I dunno about the club, it sounds like it’s their policy with Woods that has made this mess, as it not being done officially through the club being cited as reason for cancellation.

Which is fair enough but should have been cancelled weeks ago though, not the day before, not giving lads enough time to sort alternative arrangements.

Surely Woods can do both. Official club travel and then lads hiring one of their buses. Not sure the club contract would stop the latter.

 

Coach travel for football in this country is a mess. The amount of hoops and bullshit you have to jump through compared to say a rugby game.

We made offers to try and reach some sort of compromise but all options were flatly refused with ignorance. Woods don’t care and it’s a disgrace.

 

Besides all that, we all know the club don’t care too.

It’s easier to get into the country as an illegal immigrant

I think it could be possible that exclusivity would exist in a contract, the club don't get any money from the 53 going up to Liverpool, whereas they do on Fox Travel or whatever it's called nowadays. I imagine it is also a huge earner for the company or at least something they deem prestigious. Woods wouldn't have sacked an individual if it wasn't a big mistake.

Woods Coaches are a disgrace. Coach been booked for 2 months, and then to be contacted a day before the game with a ‘sorry, the girl who sorted your travel has now been sacked’ doesn’t really cut it. Not only are we missing the game, we’re also £1590 down on match tickets alone! Didn’t mind taking £1700 off us (£11 more expensive per person than what Woods are charging LCFC official coaches) a few weeks ago, once again fans treated unfairly simply for wanting to support there team that has no consideration for them. I will not be leaving this one

That's like getting bad service at Tesco and then complaining to Sainsbury's about it and asking them to rectify the situation.

 

If the club have a partnership with Woods, then I'd imagine it'll get investigated properly and hopefully a favourable outcome for the fans on the back of it i.e. reimbursement and perhaps good will gesture or discount on future travel options.
