There was a general election in the late 60's/70's and our local Conservative candidate was called Peel. They put a poster through the letter box to be displayed in the window to show support. My Dad cut out the letters, swapped them around to spell PELE and stuck it in the window.

They say ‘you never want to meet your heroes’. Well Pele was an exception. Loved the game, loved kids loving the game, loved his country, loved the fans and always had time for the people big or small. I wish I met my hero!
