Not ideal is quite the understatement there pal. That 1.3 PPG needs to rise to 2.1 for the rest of the season, so the W.I.P needs to go through the gears very quickly. Gulp

I don’t think that’s the saving argument here. 
 

It instead highlights what an absolute disaster his spell at Rangers was where his advantage over 10 other clubs was such a gulf. Worringly that has a massive similarity at our club too

And the work in progress argument wears thin when Martin has fully orchestrated the construction of said squad to the cost of anyway between £7m to £9m. A lot of the players are his selections 
 

No other manager in the history of the division has failed to succeed when those sums of money are being used.

I’d like to know what the sacking criterion for the give-him-time brigade is.

 

0.5 ppg? 1 ppg? 10 points off the play offs? Or is it they’ve set their stall out and actually they just don’t think he should be sacked no matter how bad it gets?

To be fair even i'd not walk him just yet I don't think, but he's on thin ice. We're at risk of wasting time though, at what point is promotion still achievable is the trigger point.

Don't blame you mate, good to recognise when something is making you feel worse and step away. We do have plans to start doing less current stuff and more nostalgic stuff as we (me mostly) are sick of having to talk about how bad we are but it can't be dressed up any other way.

Prior to the season, if is it was posited that we’d lose 4-0 at home to Oxford and draw 1-1 after being 1-0 against 10 - you’d say he’d deserve the sack
