Honestly at this moment looking at the remaining fixtures, I just can't see where. If we cannot beat Southampton then I fear the worst. Zero shots on target against a team who are rock bottom.

After Spurs away I would have said we'd not win a game all season and then we did.

 

We're in another defeat tailspin at the moment and I think ultimately it could turn around again.

 

But with Rodgers in charge? Really doubting it now.

Yeah, probably. People talk shit about the squad and not entirely without justification but there is still enough quality in it to win matches where, for whatever reason, that gimp's tactics end up going out the window. The thing that worries me is that most of our fixtures are against either our fellow relegation battlers who we're too soft to beat or good teams challenging for Europe/the title who we're too shit to beat. Could do with the likes of Wolves, Villa and Fulham not having much to compete for when we come to play them.

This is the problem. With VK out now for a month, the confidence of the players is going to hit rock bottom I cannot see where we get the win from, Madders will be out for at least half the games with the hip/knee or mystery illness. Youri injured. It's bleak. Very bleak.

We will win again before the end of the season, but to win the likely 4 games needed to avoid the drop, absolutely no chance if Rodgers stays.  For me now this goes two ways.  He stays and we get relegated.  He goes and we have a better chance of surviving.

To win u have to go forward with intent , we go backwards even when we have no one on us , it is so hard to watch , u would have thought after the way we tore spurs apart u would continue with that type of football, but not Rodgers

We won't win games if we aren't having shots on target and deluded Brendan is saying we creating as many chances against Southampton than we did against villa and spurs when we scored 4.

Funnily enough I looked at our fixtures after the game and thought exactly this, I can't see where another win comes from this season. Came in here, saw this thread and voted no before I realised it was an old poll. It would probably be very different now if we had a new one.
