Defend all you want but my point still stands why on earth that comment was made re Rudkin, I get which side of the fence you're on.

Fundamentally it should of been scathing and to pin it on the journalist is also a weak argument, these are quoted comments.

A BBC article where there is an opportunity to scold him wasn't taken, that is a fact.

I’ll leave it at this. The quote doesn’t tally with what I know Lynn’s opinion on Rudkin to be.

Btw it’s quite funny actually cos there is some corking point of views from yourself in this thread around 2023/2024 defending Rudkin

I wholeheartedly agree with you but it was only last week Rudkin was to blame for the financial mess. You can’t ride two horses with one behind.

If you want to spend your free time searching gotcha posts from 3 years ago that's up to you, its an attempted dead cat strategy to deflect from the FoxesTrust inability to hold the club to account, still.

I'm not in 2026 defending Rudkin, this is a here and now quote fresh off the press. Maybe get some people on board who know how to move around in the world of PR, or who can write some cutting narrative when people read it, they can mentally get behind it - not the usual wishy washy dross that is served up time and time again that get's a meh reaction.

I dunno pal. I’m just saying you seemed to share the opinion that Rudkin did some good. Took me two minutes

The Trust has more than effectively hold the club to account. For two years there has been statements asking for Rudkin to be sacked. Shared to well respected journalists with wider reaches than we possess. 10th October this was done again. Shared by Daniel Storey with a social media reach of plus 100k. In the meantime there’s plenty of other media sources we’ve asserted this. Not just the UK. I had a cracking chat with a journalist from L’Equipe back in May

Equally anyone on the trust is allowed their own opinion, what one board member thinks about one part of the club differs from the other, that’s fine. Maybe even welcomed to show balance and nuance

We’ve made our wide position clear on Rudkin collectively.

But it’s great to be outside critic all the time . We can’t magic people to join us

Just to add some further support for Lynn here, given she’s been specifically named.

I believe at the time she was a bit disappointed with how the conversation she’d had with Nick Mashiter showed up in the article. As @CosbehFox says, you couldn’t be more incorrect if you think she’s pro-Rudkin or wants to be soft on those in charge.

What it does highlight is the pitfalls of sticking your head above the parapet in being part of the Trust board and being willing to speak to journalists who might take the one or two sentences in the moment you didn’t quite nail amongst the multitude that never got used.

The Lynn I know was more or less the most welcoming and receptive Trust board member to the Foxes Trust Reform campaign. Whereas the vast majority of old board members outright obstructed or dismissed the campaign and those of us involved with it, Lynn recognised the Trust needed fresh impetus and perspectives.

Lynn’s a good egg, and she doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with the likes of the Ginetta’s when categorising people’s opinions on the way the club is being run.

I don't really know Lynn but I have spoken to her once at a Foxes Trust event. She did not come across as supporting Rudkin at all. The Foxes Trust have specifically called for his dismissal.

I think the Foxes Trust are trying their best but they're not getting answers from the club, not to mention the horrendous abuse they get on FB from the KPFC lot.

Let's be honest. If Lynn had said Rudkin is an utter fool and moron should have been sacked yrs ago.

It would not have helped the Trust in any way shape or form.

All it would have done is given the KPFC fan boys n girls another stick to bash the anti KP with.

Quite simply, absolutely no good words (or any words that could be misconstrued as even the slightest praise) should be said about Rudkin to the press/media.

He has been promoted so far beyond his abilities and the disastrous consequences are there for all to see.

When Top/KP eventually leave Rudkin will be gone too. That day can't come soon enough.
