I remember threads on their shoddy looking LTLF talking about Leicester tops in market Square. 

 

Now we might possibly be a league below them. How did this happen?

 

Is there light at the end of the proverbial tunnel know known as life?

I used to walk around Luton in my Leicester shirt.

 

And I once patronised a Cov fan and said "Can you lot get out of League 2 and become good again, so we can play each other?"

 

Oh, how we laughed.

I grew up in Nottingham being the only Leicester fan in primary and secondary school, not the easiest. 
 

I have zero regrets with my choice of club, it’s never boring. Less than a decade up and we’ve won the prem, fa cup, been in a European semi final, and made the latter stages of the champions league.
 

Prior to that, although crushing, the playoff defeats and relegation to league one, whilst different, also never boring. Promotions, the great escape, etc. I’ve been captivated by Leicester pretty much every season since I attended my first game in 1996. 
 

We will be back, and the rollercoaster will keep on rolling.

It could be worse - I moved from Leicester to Doncaster in 2000, We had just won the League cup and were playing European football, Doncaster were a non-league side.

Doncaster were promoted to the Championship in 2008, we were relegated to League 1 the same season - just imagine the stick I got.

My greatest feeling of anger about how badly the club has mismanaged the most successful period in its history comes when I think about how every kid in Leicestershire, and more than usual beyond its borders too, should be growing up a City fan.

 

Not gonna happen now.

I sold up in November 2021 and moved to Notts. I had all these delusions of laughing at all the Forest fans around me. It just so coincides that we've been on a downward spiral since that date (I know we won the FA cup).

 

I feel like ringing my mum crying and saying I want to come home…..
