I admit the only reason I know anything about Bristol City is because I'd have Big Nige's babies, but they really are gonna be a dark horse. Finished the season strongly, got their key pre-season business done early and have been bagging for fun while playing good football. They look a tight unit buying into the project - yaknow, like the one Pearson built with us? Twice?

At the very least they'll be top ten, but I reckon they sneak into the playoffs. If Coventry could do it, why not them?

If I'm wrong, take the piss all you like next summer. lol

At the moment, there's a month of transfers to go yet though. I'll probably change this a dozen times by the end of August.

I said at the end of last season we were more likely to go down again than come straight back up and they've not really done enough to change that. Can see it being a shambles.

I don’t think we will be a shambles, and dying for Leicester fans bias to turn out to be true.

and Keeping with my own ridiculous positivety.

Though unless Enzo can conjure up some miracle for this season,I actually feel we will be just about challenging, only challenging mind, for those top 6 play-off places.. IMO we need 8 from 14 players to stand up and be counted & the others to at least hold their own…Young guns, Kritiansen,Doyle,KDH,New GK,will have to consistently deliver, plus the yet unknown front line

has to convert most of the ready available chances created after 3-7 games not later ..If we don’t have at least 2 high scorers,we could well need 5-6 players hitting the 10-12 mark. Funny thing is after nearly 70 years of pre-seasons, I don’t think one fan has confidently stood up and said pre-season has shown who will be out top turn over scorers.

At the moment I can’t chose our first 3 penalty takers… Vardy may well be up there, I would like to think Nacho & Daka plus a KDH & Ricardo.. but prefer to have 2 agreed penalty takers, with a 3rd if the chosen two get injured or on bench..

unfortunately Leicester side the Coventry game will not be contested has a Derby because there will be not enough players that will understand that under the table vibe, except Maybe KDH, & Vardy…and only maybe,,

Few players will not even grasp or savy what’s coming from both sides of the terraces…

I totally agree with this we don’t have any creativity at the moment so don’t think we will even make the top 6.  Hope this addressed

As a proper Leicester fan of over 30 years now, regardless of our recent success, it's drummed into me to be the eternal pessimist and I just can't see our season going well.

I do hope I'm very, very wrong but I've not been able to shake off this feeling that Enzo's appointment is going to be Paulo Sousa than it is Nigel Pearson.

Without 1 or 2 more attacking additions to the squad, I can see us drawing more games than winning. I've got a feeling we'll be defensively sound but going forward we'll lack a cutting edge. We'll dominate games, but be clueless in the final 3rd, look to be creating more than we actually but if we don't take the chances when they come a lot of games will end up 0-0, 1-1 or at best 1-0.

I'm prepared for a season of outsider playoff contenders in the hope that it all clicks going into the next season where we'll really come alive.

I like the idea behind Enzo's appointment so I hope it doesn't go badly enough that we end up searching for another new manager by Christmas but I've got an awful feeling that we're going to start very poorly and have far too much catching up to do when it it does (and it will) clicks

If there's one theme I can nail to us it's that things rarely go to expectations. I don't recall us ever really doing well when favourites. I think Leeds were tipped above us in League One and we certainly blew it every time in the Championship. We were largely written off in 2014 and 2016.

I'm guessing those who assume we finish top 2 are those who think we'd finish top 8 last season? Also this Bristol City hard on, really! Anyway who knows, we may sign some decent forward thinking players and brizzle may fluke a top 6 finish, who knows.

Top two for sure
