Great to see him in such good nick and with all his marbles. Legend.

Thanks for this. I saw him many times. Sometimes he would come on to the pitch at half time and demonstrate his amazing ball skills.

Really nice to see him looking and sounding well. I bet you have a copy of his book Gibbo from a few years back.

Before my time so I never saw him play. What position did he play?

Inside left or in modern terms midfield playmaker. Had a wonderful understanding with Winger Mike Stringfellow

Very good to see and hear. What hasn't improved over the years though clearly is manners! How disrespectful of those individuals that kept breezing past and interrupting his speech, was what they were doing really that important? Not only a very important player of his era for Leicester City but now an elderly gentleman.

The staff should be spoken to and warned of their future behaviour or find somewhere else to work and as for Walshy, he should have more respect too. Would he like it if someone did the same to him or would he just consider himself better or more important the ill mannered oaf.

Manners are slowly disappearing, like the Rooks around the Tower of London…

FT shows British humour is dying and people finding it harder to laugh at themselves..

The perfect storm of the loss of these 3 greatest British assets is when our great spiritual Empire falls…

Mary Poppins umbrella breaks,to urepearable,Enid Blyton Peter Rabbit sees itself erased from History ,Sherlock Homes has to doctor Watson, the land forgets how to make..

Pork Pies,a decent portion of Fish n chips,Ginger-nut dunking competitions,Victoria Sponge,treacle pudding,

cockles & mussels, leave our shores, and dressed crabs without a shell, will be like a  Night of the Proms,

without Land of hope & Glory…,& the Dragon beats St George ,when both do tiddlywinks around the Round table..

bare of mushy Peas ,steak & Kidney pud,no spotted Dick to be found ,lost in the mists of the Camelot moat…

oh I fear the day is coming..

It began the day the ignoramuses forgot themselves around the greatest Scotsman to honour our city  who gratefully and gracefully wore the Royal-blue carrying the LCFC coat of arms, the Foxes badge….

Oh Ladies & Gentlemen & children forgive me profusely, the tears with nose a running are falling over my tablet as I type….

Tears of joy in the memory, but also of shame, where a British gathering who should of known better & forgot how to be decent

when invited to share the same space with a Leicester-Scot legend & Gentleman..

I had a decent natter with him after his speech and asked about String. Reckons he was the best he played with and couldn't have spoken more highly about him. Incidentally, on another note, the video makes the background noise and *interruptions* seem a lot worse than it was. He went down well.
