By the looks of it, whilst people have got the +50 for renewing, the away ticket brackets have also increased?

So not really much better off, rich are still rich and the rest have to scramble for the scraps of the decent away days.

Yeah, it’s ridiculous.

Been the same for years. Shouldn't come as a shock

Doesnt come as a shock, and I do agree with some form of reward for those that travel up & down the country,  but it being a closed shop is essentially why away days are dead.

But yeah, conversation gets done to death every year so il leave it there.

Bear in mind ... apart from a few clubs that normally give generous away allocations,  most clubs only give 2000 away tickets - rather than the normal 3000 in the Premier League.

Apart from Cov, the main other generous clubs are Preston, Blackburn, and Sheff Wed.     Pencil in the those latter 3 if you haven't got a silly number of away points.

Cov allocation this season is now smaller than we are used to getting there.

Bags of midweek games or longer trips in the championship. Points system isn’t fit for purpose but there will be plenty of opportunities to get to games if you’re not picky

I reckon if you’ve had a season ticket for 5+ years, it should be fair game top tier. Fastest credit card gets the away day ticket. Then 1-5 year in a different bracket.

All this 720, 710, 699, 675, 650 bollocks is a joke. I understand and agree with a bit of paying dues, but it is also possible to gatekeep things a bit too much.

No shock it hasn’t changed again. 8 years of having a season ticket and I would have had to go to 200 or so away games to get any priority 😂 impossible to catch up even if I had.

I'm bored of emailing them about it now….so easy to just have a rolling system but they just can’t be arsed

They know it's an issue, it has been for years.

As it stands I could avoid going to a single away for the next 3 seasons and still be in the top bracket (for a 3k allocation).

How can this be right?

You are absolutely not wrong, BUT nothing has been done on this for years.  Its actually just lazy by them and shows a sign of stupidity because they can't come up with a better way to make it fairer, and I'm on the right side of this.

I managed to catch up over the last 5-7 years by going to more than half the aways each season, but I still can't get tickets to smaller grounds e.g. Brentford, Bournemouth etc.

In fact I went to Bournemouth in the FA Cup 2 years ago coz, I knew it was the only way I would get a ticket for midweek game and Cups don't get as much demand the the League till the later rounds.
