Not when you factor the fee. As dreadful as Ayew was, he only cost £4m

Plays on the half turn as all the best midfielders do. Is our best player and if he is here for the full season he’ll be the league’s best player.

Pound for pound our worst ever signing

Ran himself into the ground tonight. Could hardly move in that last 10 mins bless him

Felt for him, was making run after run today. Quality movement but nobody was ever brave enough to make that pass

Agree with every word of this. I’ve booed them until I’m hoarse but I didn’t think it was warranted today. Neither were the chants. I think there’s a glimmer of a decent side with those younger lads. I don’t have much faith in Martin delivering it mind…

The Boo Camp

How has it got this far without Sam Bailey or Jamie Afro?

Sam Smith at Wrexham would be a good buy and probably available in our price range. Guess he’ll have a few suitors in the championship though

Talented player. But he plays every game like it’s a cup game against lower league opposition. Doesn’t work hard enough, doesn’t close down, slows everything down. Not the player for a relegation fight unfortunately. A fit Ramsey (I know) is way ahead

Awful today. Played with zero urgency. Should have been pulled well before he was

It’s not much of an accolade but I thought he was our best player today

Huth, Izzet and Tielemans the obvious ones. But Davies and Cleverley in the league 1 year were both great as well

Good feeling about this one. Exactly what we need

I think he’s looked really disinterested the last 3 games (despite the west brom goal) You usually get boundless enthusiasm from him, even if he is playing badly, but that looks like it has been sucked out of him. He’s been playing like he knows a move is coming

Deserves a start. Looks a different player to the one who started the season. Wants the ball, runs with the ball and looks like he’s bulked up a bit

Was very strange. It was like we’d scored a late consolation in the away end

There was also another stat showing we’d only won about 30% of duels tonight

Just got sent a video from inside the ground, looks very very sparse

He was awful tonight, yards off the pace. Should never have played all 3 games. Looked shattered 5 minutes in

We’ll sign him at the option price in January. But purely to give us the flexibility to bank a quick profit in the summer without any trouble. Get it done properly and you generate another 10 million on the balance sheet in this PSR period…is probably what they are thinking

Getting in early for anyone who can help me with 1 or 2 tickets? Live local to Wrexham and on 678 points - worried it won’t make it

Sack him at half time

As bad as the Sheffield United first half

I’m not sure this is a cash thing. What I do think is it’s a result of incompetence, inexperience and disorganization at the top of the club. Screams the new exec forgetting to do something and having to scramble last minute
