Hopefully another big cup win on Sunday to build some more momentum for the league. The Chelsea performance and point coming right after the Birmingham battering  has already shown how much that can help.

I see Sam Tierney is back in training.

Spoke to Sam after the Chelsea game and she said she’s aiming for Spurs away on the 19th Jan.

These lower league side players tend to fly into tackles so I think we’ll be careful with team selection for those returning from injury v Stoke, saw Petermann in one of the training photos too, not sure if she will feature.

Pitch inspection 3.30 on Saturday for the game at Meadow Lane on Sunday.

Thought Notts County had a new pitch and undersoil heating so is this a case of LCFC being too tight to foot the bill to pay for the heating?!

match postponed, not sure why they were playing there anyway

I don’t think they’ve ever played a cup game at King Power.

I asked someone connected to the team and was told ‘they (the board) just don’t seem to want to host cup games’.

Going to be midweek rearrangement now I guess.

Same as last week when they posted about buying tickets on the Sunday....and there were none left. We emailed Jim and asked for them to open another block, which they did on the Monday. I presume it's automated posts set up before 5pm Friday that they don't then think to check if they're still OK by Sunday? Needs addressing.

Is anyone going to the Euros 2025 in Switzerland? A few of us are going over and starting to plan soon. We've tickets for the England v Wales game and the SFs and Final so far. Get in touch on here or via email [email protected], would be good to see who's planning on going. If enough interest, will start a thread or Whatsapp group nearer the time.

The cup game is rearranged for Wednesday night at Meadow Lane and now clashing with the men’s game v Palace.  Great planning.
Refund for me, can’t be bothered at such short notice.

is it anymore expensive then hosting wsl games?

No idea, think it costs around £1000/1500 for undersoil heating for a day but a few stewards, security and catering staff can’t run to much.

With every week that goes by I get the feeling the club cares less and less about the women’s team.

Did anyone who had purchased a ticket get any emails directly to you telling you about it being a) postponed and b) re-arranged? Or did you only see it on socials?  People are telling us they've had no notifications.  If you haven't had an email, and need a refund, email [email protected] or call 03448255000 (option 1) before 12pm on Weds.

Saw it on socials and then got an email notification a couple hours later

Shame it’s the same night as the men’s now so will be taking up the refund option…considering the small numbers for cup games I don’t know why they don’t just use the show pitch at Seagrave, at least that’s “Leicester” and not Notts or Staffordshire..

The socials are a mess at times.

I saw it on there first, but there was no mention of refunds, I commented then they updated it with refund info.

I got an email this morning about  the rearrangement, and after every game I get a feedback form, one says thanks for attending then another email says you didn’t attend!

Expected her to go somewhere a bit better than Spurs, shame really but I’ve always rated Jani as the slightly better keeper.
Hopefully we’ve still got Becky Dowsett on the books.

No! It's just a way of opening the gate to allow the men's team into English football.

Nikki Doucet is the chief executive officer of that company and is hoping the addition of the Women's Old Firm side can expand the women’s game.

It you want to do that level the playing field to allow any expansion to be competitive.

More nonsense from the womens game, if they move to the English league system. they need to start at the bottom of the pyramid.

They smell the money.

I have no doubt thats one of the reasons for this.  Its all money oriented(of course).  The idea of rangers and celtic in the premier league would be a massive money spinner.

I think the only thing that has stopped it happening in the past is the Police.  Wouldn't surprise me if they cut some deal about paying the extra police cost.

Have to say I'm against it but would find it slightly amusing to see hordes of glaswegians descending every week.

I'm sure they'll be watching the villa v celtic and Utd v Rangers games coming up......lots of trouble and it will be a huge blow to their plans.  If it all goes off well it might be a sign of things to come.

If it happened in the men’s game it would mean teams like LCFC would spend more time in the championship
