This is more the type of signing we would make in the past, a young player with a high ceiling. Inconsistent but had some very good games, like the one above against Southampton.

 

He's left footed and can play in the back 3 or usually as a CDM. If we played Enzo's old style, he would have been a decent pick for the left sided CB that advances forwards.

 

All that said, not really the type of player that would make me think we'd improve our chances of staying up, but from what I've seen, he looked a very tidy and accomplished player.

Pretty sure he was being highly rated last season. Bit of a turbulent time for them in the end so no surprise if some of their more fancied players were a bit hot and cold. I'd like to see us take a chance on him.

He’s a decent player. Would be a shrewd signing.
