Unfortunately wasn't there that night.

Looking through my history this is the only match I've previously been to on October 25th. Not quite as enthralling.

Is there any particular reason it's accompanied by an obviously not from Northampton 2008 picture? :sweating:

It's strange though because I agree but not one player comes close to saying a bad word about him. By that I mean the relevant ones, not Vesty sat out not playing.

We had all the rumours on here about Kasper despising him and he then said he's the best manager he's played under and gone back to work with him at Celtic.

I'll never forgive that man for the way he absolutely ensured his reputation to the outside world at the cost of our club though. It was disgusting. Absolute self preservation as the team plummeted into the oblivion. Incredible how I see him, Youri and a few others after giving us such a memorable cup win.

History tells us that most people are easily manipulated and poor judges of character, especially when it comes to leaders.

I agree with bovril, we were brilliant for about 3 months, then the performances and tactics started to decline and eventually the results. Southampton away was during the lovebombing stage. Still proud of the result though. Amazing to have an away top flight record.

What a night that was. I remember tuning back into the match thread at 3-0 or something and we were all reacting to different goals at the same time due to all the dodgy streams lol

I ****ing love the fact that we're the least "normal" club in the world.

Just the Futbology app. They use a stock photo for each ground.

They lost 0-9 to Man Utd a year and a half later.

Ralph became the first manager to lose 0-9 twice. Neither of the Saints’ goalkeepers, Angus Gunn and Alex McCarthy, seemed to recover from these games; their performances remained poor afterward.

No, I said it before, I don't think I'll see us finish top 6 (and win a major trophy) again.

BUT you could be a Spurs fan! And you're not!
